Architectural firm Buckley Gray Yeoman recognised the need for a site that would hold its own amongst many.

Approaching Crumpled Dog Design they asked for a highly innovative, engaging and animated website. The aim for Crumpled Dog was to combined the requirements of BGY with the need for excellent natural SEO, easily content managed by non-technical staff and able to feature key architectural projects with a high level of photographic content and summary information.

Making use of BGY's strong corporate imagery, the Dogs produced a clean, content managed Flash website, with a comprehensive and intelligently placed navigation system inspired by a simple children's playground game.

The site creates a BGY world a-buzz with activity; stop-frame video, music and interactive visuals - pencils roll, badges bounce and Polaroids float across the pages in a fluid, orderly disorder, creating a rich user experience, without presenting a barrier to information.

The challenge set by the NAH and their online acquisition agency Atom42 was to create an innovative campaign that is engaging, modern and intelligently targeted to the specific market.

Crumpled Dog wish to develop a series of ads that ticked all the boxes for the National Accident Helpline, as well as take it in a fresh creative direction. "Our illustrative, animated approach will both appeal to those who need the NAH services and push the market's expectations for digital banner content" says Christian Stanley, director of Crumpled Dog.

The campaign consists of 3 animated adverts; the first initial 12 second ad sees an unhappy injured character realizing that he may be able to claim for a recent injury. The subsequent ads are accident specific; focusing on car and work environments. Together the 3 will create a striking campaign which, whilst appealing in its treatments is capable of getting across a serious message.

The ads have been launched across various pages on Yahoo and GMTV

The brief was to allow all National Grid employees, world-wide, to submit up to 2 photographs each during a 2 month entry period. The winners were to be used on the 2009 National Grid employee calendar. There were around 500 submissions, which were short-listed by a National Grid panel of experts, down to 50 entries. The short-list was then published and all employees were able to vote for their top 3 images. The top 13 winners were printed on the calendar.

The Theme for the 2009 calendar was The Power of Action.
